Updated V7


This update overhauls how attacking and Dual-wielding works. 

  • All characters now have the "Dual Wield" ability. 
  • All weapon types with the exception of Swords, Guns, and Bows can be dual-wielded. 
  • Shields/Emels may be equipped in the left hand.
  • There is no longer the "Attack" command in combat, but rather an "Attack" skill menu.
    • Each equipped weapon grants the wielder its associated attack skill within the "Attack" skill menu.
    • Equipping a second weapon will grant the wielder a second attack.
      • The second attack can only be used for an attack type skill from the "Attack" skill menu; Items, Guard, etc. have been disabled for the second attack.
    • In the case of wielding two identical weapons, i.e. two knives, the skill will not have a cooldown, so it may be used twice.
    • In the case of wielding two non-identical weapons, i.e. a knife and a needler, each skill will have a 1-turn cooldown.
  • The "Auto-Battle" party command has been disabled for the time being while I am still working to improve it.
  • The "Optimize" feature in the Equip screen has been disabled as it is incompatible with above changes.
  • I cannot guarantee previous save files will work, although my older saves seem to be working. Remember to back up your saves before overwriting.

Fixed the below issues:

  • Technique Distribution events for Crys and Aron's parties have now been added.
  • Healing House events for Aron's party have now been added.
  • Healing House events for Aron and Cry's parties have been added to Hazatak.
  • Added event to unequip non-permanent allies' equip when completing Ayn's adventure.
  • Added missing Dialog to a Cyborg in Hazatak during Ayn's adventure.
  • Shusoran dungeon exit no longer leads to a previous version of Shusoran.
  • Tweaked some damage formulas for (hopefully) more balanced gameplay.
